Annie's father was Daniel Longworth and her mother was Ann Rothwell. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Longworth and Catherine Mather. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Henry, William, Louisa, Alice and Bertha. She was the sixth oldest of the seven children. She had a half-sister named Elizabeth. She died at the age of 7 in January 1883 in Horwich. Her burial was on January 6th, 1883 in Horwich.²
