Betty Lever 
Betty was born in 1845 in Oldham.1 Betty's father was Thomas Lever and her mother was Martha Crook. Her maternal grandparents were John Crook and Ann Tommason. She had five brothers and two sisters, named John, Jacob, Janes, William, Joseph, Ann and Martha. She was the youngest of the eight children.-
