Martha Crook

Martha was born in 1805 in Little Bolton and her baptism took place on April 28th, 1805 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

Martha's father was John Crook and her mother was Ann Tommason. Her paternal grandparents were John Crook and Rachel Kay. She had a brother named Jacob. She was the younger of the two children.

- In 1826, Martha married John Lever at Bolton.
  
  In 1841, Thomas and Martha were living in Oldam. Theire fist two sons were named John and Jacob (after her father and brother), and then Ann (named after her mother).
