Engine Driver deceased who died 19 May 1863 at Booth Hill aforesaif were granted at Manchester to Martha Lever of Booth Hill aforesaid Widow the Relict of the said Deceased she having been first sworn.

In 1861, Edward was a "visitor", visiting Thomas and Martha Lever and family (his uncle).
Thomas lived with Edward Crook.
Thomas and Martha were married in a religious ceremony on April 16th, 1826 at St. Peter's (Bolton).4 They had five sons and three daughters, named John, Jacob, Janes, William, Joseph, Ann, Martha and Betty. There are no more children.
