John Jones

John was born in December 1866 in Threapwood.¹

Birth Notes

John's father was Richard Jones and his mother was Sarah Brereton. His maternal grandparents were Richard Brereton and (Elizabeth) Ellen Lea. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named George, Richard, Thomas, Mary, Martha, Ann, Hester, Elizabeth, Sarah and Catherine. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.
