Birth Notes

Hester's father was Richard Jones and her mother was Sarah Brereton. Her maternal grandparents were Richard Brereton and (Elizabeth) Ellen Lea. She had four brothers and six sisters, named George, Richard, John, Thomas, Mary, Martha, Ann, Elizabeth, Sarah and Catherine. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.
