Margaret was born in 1872 in Tottington.¹

Birth Notes

Margaret's father was James Isherwood and her mother was Nancy Farnworth. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Isherwood and Ann Mather. She had six brothers and three sisters, named John, William, James, Townley, Arthur, Ernest, Alice, Annie and Clara. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 79 in October 1951 in Nelson.²
