Clara was born in 1875 in Tottington.¹

Birth Notes

Clara's father was James Isherwood and her mother was Nancy Farnworth. Her paternal grandparents were Jonathan Isherwood and Ann Mather. She had six brothers and three sisters, named John, William, James, Townley, Arthur, Ernest, Alice, Annie and Margaret. She was the third youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 4 in 1879 in Heywood.¹
