Birth Notes

Arthur's father was James Isherwood and his mother was Nancy Farnworth. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Isherwood and Ann Mather. He had five brothers and four sisters, named John, William, James, Townley, Ernest, Alice, Annie, Margaret and Clara. He was the second youngest of the ten children.
