John Thomas Isherwood

John's father was James Isherwood and his mother was Nancy Farnworth. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Isherwood and Ann Mather. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William, James, Townley, Arthur, Ernest, Alice, Annie, Margaret and Clara. He was the oldest of the ten children.
