Jane Isherwood

Jane was born in June 1838 in Entwistle.¹

Birth Notes

Jane's father was Jonathan Isherwood and her mother was Ann Mather. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Isherwood and Jane Holt; her maternal grandparents were James Mather and Rachel Hamer. She had four brothers and four sisters, named James, John, William, Thomas, Rachel, Margaret, Sarah and Nancy. She was the third oldest of the nine children.
