William Hodgkinson

William was born about January 1881 in Burwardsley.¹

William's father was Edward Hodgkinson and his mother was Ann Brereton. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Brereton and Catherine Rushton. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Frederick, Walter, Thomas, Edward, Joseph, Richard, Catherine, Mary, Elizabeth and Lydia. He was the eighth oldest of the eleven children.
