Richard Hodgkinson

Richard was born in 1888 in Burwardsley.¹ Richard's father was Edward Hodgkinson and his mother was Ann Brereton. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Brereton and Catherine Rushton. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Frederick, Walter, Thomas, Edward, Joseph, William, Catherine, Mary, Elizabeth and Lydia. He was the youngest of the eleven children.
