Lydia Hodgkinson 
Lydia was born in 1885 in Burwardsley.1 Lydia's father was Edward Hodgkinson and her mother was Ann Brereton. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Brereton and Catherine Rushton. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Frederick, Walter, Thomas, Edward, Joseph, William, Richard, Catherine, Mary and Elizabeth. She was the second youngest of the eleven children.-
