Joseph Hodgkinson 
Joseph was born in 1880 in Burwardsley.1 Joseph's father was Edward Hodgkinson and his mother was Ann Brereton. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Brereton and Catherine Rushton. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Frederick, Walter, Thomas, Edward, William, Richard, Catherine, Mary, Elizabeth and Lydia. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.-
