Robert's father was Robert Dod-Hopley and her mother was Ann Hopley.  Her paternal grandparents were William John Dod-Hopley and Hannah Hopley; her maternal grandparents were Charles Hopley and Mary Poovah. She had two brothers and five sisters, named John, Robert, Ann, Harriet, Elizabeth, Hannah and Amelia.  She was the third youngest of the eight children.  She died at 2 months old in October 1821 in Malpas.  She was buried on October 27th, 1821.^1 1
