Edith Darlington

Edith was born in 1900 in Barrow.¹ Edith's father was John Darlington and her mother was Rosa Brereton. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Darlington and Jane Brereton; her maternal grandparents were John Brereton and Mary Ann Lea. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Frank, Lea, Annie, Rosa and Mary. She was the third oldest of the seven children.
