Hannah was born in March 1782 in Butternab and her baptism took place on March 3rd, 1782 in Almondbury.¹

Birth Notes

Hannah's father was James Crosland and her mother was Mary Sanderson. Her paternal grandparents were John Crosland Jnr and Ellen Firth. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, James, Valentine, Charles, Mary, Ruth and Martha. She was the third oldest of the eight children.
