Hannah Crosland

Hannah was born in 1840 in Barnsley.¹

Hannah's father was John Crosland and her mother was Ann (Nanny) Townend. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Crosland and Ann Darwent. She had nine brothers and three sisters, named Charles, Robert, John, Fred, Job, Albert, Sam, Everett, Arthur, Harriet, Emma and Eliza. She was the fourth oldest of the thirteen known children. She died at the age of 100 in December 1940 in Barnsley.²
