Hannah was born in March 1886 in Birkenhead.¹

Birth Notes

Hannah's father was John Brockbank and her mother was Mary Ann Kenna. Her paternal grandparents were John Brockbank and Mary Ann Mather. She had three brothers and six sisters, named John, James, William, Mary, Margaret, Edith, Florence, Lily and Ethel. She was the fourth oldest of the ten children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Thomas, Joseph and Elizabeth.
