William (1611–1664), successor to his grandfather as 2nd baron. He was the son of Sir John Brereton and Anne Fitton.
William Brereton, 2nd Baron Brereton was an English landowner and politician. He supported the Royalist cause during the English Civil War and sat in the House of Commons from 1661 to 1664.
When he died, William left his estate to his wife Elizabeth.
