John Brereton

John was born in 1640 in Brereton cum Smethwick and his baptism took place there on July 15th, 1640.¹

Birth Notes

John's father was William (William II) Lord Brereton and his mother was Rt Hon Elizabeth Goring. His paternal grandparents were Sir John Brereton and Lady Anne Fyton. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named William, Henry, George, John, Richard, Mary, Anne, Elizabeth, Margaret, Elizabeth, Frances and Jane. He was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children.
