Marie, known as Mary, was born in 1630 in Brereton cum Smethwick and her baptism took place there on September 23rd, 1630.¹

Birth Notes

Mary's father was William (William II) Lord Brereton and her mother was Rt Hon Elizabeth Goring. Her paternal grandparents were Sir John Brereton and Lady Anne Fyton. She had six brothers and six sisters, named William, Henry, George, John, John, Richard, Anne, Elizabeth, Margaret, Elizabeth, Frances and Jane. She was the oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 86 in 1716 in Nantwich. She was buried on December 1st, 1716 in Nantwich.²
