William Brereton

William was born in 1805 in Newchapel and his baptism took place there on November 25th, 1804.¹²

William's father was Randle Brereton and his mother was Sarah Buckley. His paternal grandparents were Randle Brereton and Sarah Day. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Randle, John, James, Sarah, Mary and Martha. He was the fifth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 72 in June 1877 in Wolstanton.³
