James Brereton

James was born in 1807 in Newchapel. James' father was Randle Brereton and his mother was Sarah Buckley. His paternal grandparents were Randle Brereton and Sarah Day. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Randle, John, William, Sarah, Mary and Martha. He was the sixth oldest of the seven children.
