Ranalphus, known as Randle or Ralph, was born on February 20th, 1671 in Acton by Nantwich and his christening took place there on February 20th, 1671.1 2  Randle or Ralph's father was Richard Brereton and his mother was Elizabeth Kendricke.  His paternal grandparents were John Brereton and Anne Gardener; his maternal grandparents were Richard Kendricke and Elizabeth Webenham. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Richard, John, William, Thomas, Thomas, Elizabeth, Anna and Margaret.  He died at the age of 48 in 1719 in Acton by Nantwich.  His burial was on February 23rd, 1719 in Acton by Nantwich.3 3
