Mary Brereton

Mary was born in December 1852 in Harthill and her baptism took place on September 17th, 1865 at All Saints, Harthill.¹²

Birth Notes

Mary's father was Thomas Brereton and her mother was Catherine Rushton. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Brereton and Elizabeth (Betty) Haywood. She had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Thomas, William, Abraham, Thomas, Richard, Elizabeth, Ann and Catherine. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 43 in April 1896 in Chester. She was buried on April 29th, 1896 in Chester.³
