Birth Notes

Joseph's father was Joshua Bottomley and his mother was Hannah Crosland. His maternal grandparents were Daniel Crosland and Mary Kinder. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John, Firth, Wright, Edward, Appleyard, Wilson, Mary, Jane, Emma and Eliza. He was the youngest of the eleven children.
