Irene was born on October 12th, 1921 in Wrexham.¹

Irene's father was George Bishop and her mother was Elizabeth Ann Barker. Her maternal grandparents were Aldred Barker and Rose (Rosanna) Anna Evans. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, George, Henry, Amelia, Sarah and Rose. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Banjamin, Lizzie and Ethel. She died at the age of 53 on September 23rd, 1975 in Wrexham. Her burial was in September 1975 in Wrexham.²
