27 Jan 1845, John Whitall servant, son of Daniel Whitall a labourer married Elizabeth Eddowes, servant, daughter of Joseph Eddows a sawyer at Wrexham. Both of full age.
In 1846, another John Evans married Mary Lewis
In 1851, John a brewer and Elizabeth (28 & 24) were at "The Walks", Wrexham Abbot with Mary (4) and John (1).
Although named Whitall when married, all the later birth and census records show John "Evans". Also, although Elizabeth named her father Joseph there are no recorded births or baptisms of Elizabeth to Joseph (only John), and also there are no records for a Joseph Eddowes in Wrexham.
In 1871, John (a brewer) and Elizabetrh (47 & 46) were living at 18 Bridge Street, Wrexham Abbot with Mary Jane (24), John (21), Rosanna (16) and Charles (12).
John and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on January 27th, 1845 in Wrexham witnessed by William & Elizabeth Jones.2 They had three sons and two daughters, named John, Richard, Charles, Mary and Rosanna. There are no more children.
