Birth Notes

Richard's father was John Evans (Whitall) and his mother was Elizabeth Eddowes. His paternal grandparents were Evan Evans and Jane Jones; his maternal grandparents were John Eddowes and Mary Whitfield. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Charles, Mary and Rosanna. He was the third oldest of the five children.
