Edward was born on March 10th, 1836 in Golftyn and his baptism took place on April 24th, 1836 in Northop.1 2  Edward's father was Benjamin Bennett and his mother was Catherine Jones.  His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Bennett and Elizabeth Millington; his maternal grandparents were John Jones and Elizabeth Barclay. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Benjamin, Jonathan, Catherine and Elizabeth.  He was the second youngest of the six known children.  He died in an accident or as a result of an injury, Accidently drowned, at the age of 56 on May 26th, 1892 in Connah's Quay.  He was buried in June 1892 in Connah's Quay.3 4 




Edward's first family with Mary Ann Coppack

‌Edward and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on September 3rd, 1857 in Chester. They had eight sons and four daughters, named Benjamin, Edward, William, Jonathan, Joseph, Thomas, Albert, Stephen, Priscilla, Mary, Catherine and Priscilla.  There are no more children.


Edward's second family with Margaret Jane Jones

‌Edward and Margaret were married in a religious ceremony on October 11th, 1880 in Chester.  They had a son and two daughters, named John, Maggie and Adelaide.
