Catherine was born on May 11th, 1833 in Golftyn and her baptism took place on June 9th, 1833 in Northop.1  Catherine's father was Benjamin Bennett and her mother was Catherine Jones.  Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Bennett and Elizabeth Millington; her maternal grandparents were John Jones and Elizabeth Barclay. She had four brothers and a sister, named John, Benjamin, Jonathan, Edward and Elizabeth.  She was the third youngest of the six known children.  She died at the age of 69 on September 16th, 1902 in Millard.  She was buried in September 1902 in Millard.2 




Catherine's family with Thomas Hewitt

‌Catherine and Thomas were married in a religious ceremony on November 19th, 1857 in Chester. They had an adopted son named Henry.  There are no more children.
