Thomas was born on September 17th, 1872 in Golftyn.1  Thomas' father was Edward Bennett and his mother was Mary Ann Coppack.  His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Bennett and Catherine Jones. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Benjamin, Edward, William, Jonathan, Joseph, Albert, Stephen, Priscilla, Mary, Catherine and Priscilla.  He was the nineth oldest of the twelve children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named John, Maggie and Adelaide.  He died at the age of 66 on January 25th, 1939 in Idaho (ID).
