Maggie's father was Edward Bennett and her mother was Margaret Jane Jones. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Bennett and Catherine Jones. She had a brother and a sister, named John and Adelaide. She was the oldest of the three children. She had eight half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Benjamin, Edward, William, Jonathan, Joseph, Thomas, Albert, Stephen, Priscilla, Mary, Catherine and Priscilla. She died at the age of 52 on December 20th, 1933 in Connah's Quay.²
