Thomas Renton 
Thomas was born in 1851 in Shotley Bridge, County Durham, England. Thomas' father was John Renton and his mother was Hannah Siddell. His paternal grandparents were William Renton and Marion Borrowman. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William Matthew, George, John, Alfred Allan, Henry Charles, Marion, Annie C., Hannah and Emma Hay. He was the third youngest of the ten children.-
