John Renton 
John was born in 1847 in Shotley Bridge, County Durham, England. John's father was John Renton and his mother was Hannah Siddell. His paternal grandparents were William Renton and Marion Borrowman. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William Matthew, George, Thomas, Alfred Allan, Henry Charles, Marion, Annie C., Hannah and Emma Hay. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 54 in 1901 in Sunderland, Durham, England.-
