Janet McRostie

Janet was born on November 15th, 1801 in Laggan, Perthshire, Scotland and her baptism took place on November 15th, 1801 in Comrie, Perthshire, Scotland.

Birth Notes

Janet's father was Peter John McRosty and her mother was Margaret Stewart. Her paternal grandparents were James McRosty and Janet McNab; her maternal grandparents were Daniel Stewart and Catharine McLaren. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, Peter, Christian, Margaret and Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the six children. She had two half-brothers named James and John. She died at the age of 72 in 1873.
