James McRostie

James was born in 1794 in Laggan, Perthshire, Scotland and his baptism took place on June 8th, 1794 in Comrie, Perthshire, Scotland.  James' father was Peter John McRosty and his mother was Janet Cram.  His paternal grandparents were James McRosty and Janet McNab; his maternal grandparents were John Cram and Janet Littlejohn. He had a brother named John.  He was the older of the two children. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Alexander, Peter, Janet, Christian, Margaret and Elizabeth.  He died in Australia.
