William Salhouse Tillett

William was born on January 14th, 1876 in Beccles, Suffolk, England.  William's father was Frederick Salhouse Tillett and his mother was Mary  Ann Gross.  His maternal grandparents were Henry Gross and Mary Ann Mobbs. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Frederick, Harry, Samuel, Frederick, Bertie, Emma, Lavinia, Mary Ann, Ellen, Edith and Ella.  He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 90 in 1966 in Lothingland, Suffolk, England.
