Harry Salhouse Tillett

Harry was born on May 11th, 1864 in Beccles, Suffolk, England and his christening took place there on June 5th, 1864.^1 2   Harry's father was Frederick Salhouse Tillett and his mother was Mary  Ann Gross.  His maternal grandparents were Henry Gross and Mary Ann Mobbs. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Frederick, Samuel, Frederick, William, Bertie, Emma, Lavinia, Mary Ann, Ellen, Edith and Ella.  He was the second oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 83 in 1947 in Blyth, Suffolk, England.
