Bertie Salhouse Tillett

Bertie was born in 1878 in Beccles, Suffolk, England.  Bertie's father was Frederick Salhouse Tillett and his mother was Mary  Ann Gross.  His maternal grandparents were Henry Gross and Mary Ann Mobbs. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Frederick, Harry, Samuel, Frederick, William, Emma, Lavinia, Mary Ann, Ellen, Edith and Ella.  He was the fifth youngest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 56 in 1934.
