William Ellison Evans 
William Ellison was born on November 24th, 1851 in Screven Co., GA.1 William Ellison's father was John Ruel Evans and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth Lucas. His paternal grandparents were Hezekiah Evans and Sarah Moore. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named John Ruel, James Hezekiah, Charles, Herschel V. J., Ruel, Hezekiah, Sarah Elizabeth, Anna Jane, Evalina, Martha Humphries, Magnolia, Jessamine and Dahlia. He was the fourth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 58 on August 5th, 1910 in Screven Co., GA. He was buried in August 1910 in Screven Co., GA.1 1 General Notes
