Dahlia Evans 
Dahlia was born on October 8th, 1873 in Screven Co., GA.1 Dahlia's father was John Ruel Evans and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth Lucas. Her paternal grandparents were Hezekiah Evans and Sarah Moore. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named John Ruel, James Hezekiah, William Ellison, Charles, Herschel V. J., Ruel, Hezekiah, Sarah Elizabeth, Anna Jane, Evalina, Martha Humphries, Magnolia and Jessamine. She was the youngest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 77 on March 23rd, 1951.1 General Notes
