James Hezekiah Evans 
James Hezekiah was born on August 3rd, 1847 in Screven Co., GA.1 James Hezekiah's father was John Ruel Evans and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth Lucas. His paternal grandparents were Hezekiah Evans and Sarah Moore. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named John Ruel, William Ellison, Charles, Herschel V. J., Ruel, Hezekiah, Sarah Elizabeth, Anna Jane, Evalina, Martha Humphries, Magnolia, Jessamine and Dahlia. He was the second oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 70 on February 11th, 1918.1 General Notes
