Anna Jane Evans 
Anna Jane was born on January 1st, 1859 in Screven Co., GA.1 Anna Jane's father was John Ruel Evans and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth Lucas. Her paternal grandparents were Hezekiah Evans and Sarah Moore. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named John Ruel, James Hezekiah, William Ellison, Charles, Herschel V. J., Ruel, Hezekiah, Sarah Elizabeth, Evalina, Martha Humphries, Magnolia, Jessamine and Dahlia. She was the seventh youngest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 87 on December 28th, 1946.1 General Notes
