Ruel Evans 
Ruel was born on January 27th, 1857 in Screven Co., GA.1 Ruel's father was John Ruel Evans and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth Lucas. His paternal grandparents were Hezekiah Evans and Sarah Moore. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named John Ruel, James Hezekiah, William Ellison, Charles, Herschel V. J., Hezekiah, Sarah Elizabeth, Anna Jane, Evalina, Martha Humphries, Magnolia, Jessamine and Dahlia. He was the seventh oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 2 on January 4th, 1860.1 General Notes
