William Troxell 
William was born in 1800 in Wayne Co., KY. William's father was George Jacob Troxell and his mother was Cornblossom Doublehead. His paternal grandparents were David Troxell and Anna Elizabeth Saeger; his maternal grandparents were Chief Doublehead Tal-Tsu`ska Chuqualataque and Creat Pryber. He had a brother and four sisters, named Peter Jacob, Catherine `Katy`, Margaret `Peggy`, Elizabeth and Sarah. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 82 on May 15th, 1882 in Jackson Co., AL.General Notes
