Catherine `Katy` was born in 1783 in Loudon Co., VA.. Catherine `Katy`'s father was George Jacob Troxell and her mother was Cornblossom Doublehead. Her paternal grandparents were David Troxell and Anna Elizabeth Saeger; her maternal grandparents were Chief Doublehead Tal-Tsu`ska Chuqualataque and Creat Pryber. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Peter Jacob, William, Margaret `Peggy`, Elizabeth and Sarah. She was the second oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 30 in 1813 in TN.General Notes
