Queen Adeliza of Louvain 
Adeliza of Louvain was born about 1105 in Louivain, Belgium. Adeliza of Louvain's father was Duke Godfrey Barbutus ("the Bearded") de Lorraine I of Brabant and her mother was Ida de Namur. Her paternal grandparents were Duke Henry de Brabant II of Lower Lorraine and Adela von der Betuwe; her maternal grandparents were Otto II de Chiny and Adelaide de Namur. She had a brother and a sister, named Godfrey and Ida. She was the oldest of the three children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Joscelain and "The Fair Maid of Brabant". She died about April 23rd, 1151 in Flanders.General Notes
